Printmaking
Hand pulled screen prints inspired by natural pattern and form.
I am constantly searching for intricate patterns that occur within my immediate surroundings and try to replicate them in a silkscreen print.

My work begins with a texture or object that I transform into a repeating pattern.
A walk in nature reveals familiar textures like winter branches or grains of sand.
These textures become reduced until it is high-contrast, black and white image.
